Get to know Tony

Tony Marino is an American entertainer specializing in sound design and music. Growing up in Massachusetts, he discovered his gift of perfect pitch at age five, and began taking piano lessons starting at age ten. Tony has trained under Grammy-award winning producers Michael Verdick and the late Roger Nichols, as well as interned under producer Kevin Augunas for artists such as The Lumineers. He enjoys all forms of music but has a special place in his heart for Japanese pop and rock after visiting the country in 2006; these influences are reflected in his own original works.

Tony has contributed his work to a number of companies, including Microsoft where he helped design numerous neural voice models for clients such as AT&T and ESPN. Prior to this, Tony took on the role of audio director for California based game developer Studio Roqovan, where he served (among many other things) as a sound designer on the virtual reality title World War Toons. He has also previously worked at WayForward Technologies as a proud member of the audio team, contributing his sound design to several releases including DuckTales Remastered.

Currently, Tony is completing his bachelor's degree in Software Development and is training to be ProTools certified in both music and audio post-production. He enjoys singing, video games, electronics and listening to his favorite band, TOKIO, in his spare time.
